I'm a strategist and big picture thinker. I have a PhD in political science, but my work is interdisciplinary, sitting at the intersection of media, democracy, and public life, focused on how journalism and media shape what people know, think, and do.
I develop frameworks for understanding and measuring media impact, working with newsrooms, foundations, and media organizations to ground their strategies in evidence. I believe journalism is most powerful when its effects are critically understood and deliberately cultivated.
